The Sano Academy aims to continuously provide farmers with the latest information about all aspects of modern animal nutrition. Well-designed education and further training programs present theory and practice in a closely linked way. New perspectives and approaches to solutions are created by excellent content preparation and many opportunities to share experiences. Knowledge gained can immediately be implemented into your everyday professional life.

In order to make a wide and varied range of seminars possible, Sano is working together closely with the European Institute for Profitable Milk Production, Ineda, and with the newly established Sano Agricultural Institute, Mero Merkur.

The Mero Merkur pilot farm in Lubin, Poland spans 1,500 hectares of arable land and has its own cattle breeding establishment. It is from here that the Sano Academy gets concrete results on topics in the fields of feeding and animal health, first hand. A valuable exchange with agricultural scientists and veterinarians results from the collaboration with Ineda, which is also reflected in what the Academy has to offer, for instance, Ineda establishes contacts for Sano with renowned professors from universities and institutes in Germany, Europe and the USA.

The Sano Academy seminars are open to farmers, farm managers, vets, traders, consultants and to all Sano employees. Experienced advisors make sure that all of the participants benefit from Sano’s cumulative knowledge and experience.

We have specialised training programs for:

- Feeding consultants

Sano academy training to become a certified feeding consultant offers the highest level of training, built up step by step. On-the-job training follows communication of essential topics in modern animal nutrition. Together with an experienced Sano feeding consultant and coach, you will get started in practice.

- Farmers and veterinarians

Communication works - More than two thirds of farmers and vets swap ideas with colleagues, looking for help and inspiration for important topics such as animal nutrition and health or farm management. With its seminars, the Sano academy really supports this essential exchange of experiences.

- Staff development

In the Sano development programs, you will be given all of the necessary tools to perform demanding management tasks at home and abroad. We are convinced that supporting employees in the Sano academy is one of the central factors for Sano’s success.
